Terms and Conditions:
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on
smartmodernart.com website.
Returns:
We are very confident here that the canvas art you buy from us is of a high
quality and that you will be more than happy with it. We take great care to
ensure our canvas prints are made to highest standards and all post-photography
processing is done using professional techniques to maintain the optimum image
quality and product standard.
If for some reason you are not completely happy with your purchase we are happy
to refund you provided the print is returned to us in the original packaging and
condition within 7 days. On receipt of the artwork (in good, re-saleable
condition) we will refund the full amount minus the original cost of delivery.
Credit for cancelled/returned items will be made by the original payment method
within 14 days of receipt.
Please do not sign for or accept your goods until you have physically checked
them and are satisfied that they are in perfect condition. In cases of damaged
of faulty goods, where possible, this fact must be communicated to the delivery
company at time of delivery. You should then email: sales@smartmodernart.com as
soon as possible and we will advise you accordingly. In cases where we advise
you to return the goods, we will reimburse you for the delivery costs at the
rate of standard Royal Mail parcel delivery. You will then have the option of
accepting replacement goods, or receiving a full refund.
Please Note: This returns policy does not apply to custom-made sizes which
includes the 'Photo on Canvas' service or overseas orders.
The Distance Selling Regulations provides you with a statutory right to cancel
your order and receive a full refund for any home delivery item. This does not
apply to a print produced from a photograph provided by you.Smartmodernart shall
not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations in cases where the
failure was caused by matters beyond our reasonable control.
In the event that you do decide to cancel your order, we would ask that you
please notify us immediately as all our canvas prints are hand made items and
once it has been manufactured on your behalf this is at a cost to ourselves.
Please note these are not off the shelf products so please ensure you have
selected the right colour and size before ordering.
Due to the bespoke status of these artworks, items that are delivered as
described and in good condition may not be returned but damaged items will be
exchanged free of charge. We reserve the right to charge for re-posting returned
orders, which have been especially produced to meet your personal requirements.
Order Cancellations:
If we have not despatched your order then you are free to cancel it at anytime.
If you cancel your order after we have despatched it then you must return the
goods to us. .
Effect of agreement:
Viewing of smartmodernart.com is free, but when you use this website, this
privacy policy agreement becomes effective and you reaffirm the agreement every
time you use the site.
Pricing Policy:
All prices shown on this website are in £(GBP) Pounds Sterling and are inclusive
of VAT @ 20%. We try to ensure that the prices indicated on the website are up
to date and accurate. If a product has been listed at a lower price due to an
error and you have ordered that product, then we will inform you as soon as
possible and give you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct
price or to cancel it.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling
Directive.
Your statutory rights are not affected by these trading terms.
The images and designs used on the Smartmodernart.com website are the property
of Smartmodernart or their respective copyright owners, and are used by
Smartmodernart pursuant to express authorisation from copyright
owners or their agents. All copyright, trademarks and other intellectual
property rights in and relating to Smartmodernart are vested in Smartmodernart
or our partners where appropriate. You must not reproduce, modify or distribute
our images or any part of those images in any manner.
